What could be better than getting out of the heated ski room first thing in the morning with wonderfully warm ski boots and onto the ski slope in the shortest and most direct way? As a guest at the Hotel Almrausch, which is located at the Sonnwiesen downhill run and the valley station of the chairlift, you have the choice: use the Sonnwiesenlift, which you can reach with your skis directly from the hotel, or the Maibrunnbahn, which you reach after a few steps through the underpass of the federal road.
Tip:
You can also enjoy the Almrausch culinary delights while skiing. Visit the ski hut Strohsackhütte at the middle station of the Kaiserburgbahn, directly at the valley station of the Strohsack chairlift, and get the soup of the day for free (voucher available at the hotel).

Children from the age of three are lovingly looked after in the ski kindergartens for half or full days: a taster day will quickly reveal whether your offspring will also feel at home without mum.
