Being a host was something Josef Juritz was literally born into, having grown up in a renowned Carinthian gastronomic business and completed his specialist hotel training in Bad Hofgastein. His professional path lead him to numerous luxury hotels in this country and overseas. Even at the tender age of 20 he achieved gold at various competitions. The highlight was the gold medal at the ‘Berufsolympiade’ in Prague in 1990. The service which he seeks to provide his guests – attentive and unobtrusive at the same time – is something this wine and cheese sommelier and service ‘maestro’ has a flair for.
